We’re Swing á la Django, a band born from the passion for gypsy jazz, the love for swing, and the inspiration of the great Django Reinhardt. Over the years, we’ve poured our hearts and souls into our music, sharing our unique sound with audiences across Europe. Now, we stand on the brink of a dream we've held close since the very beginning: performing at Carnegie Hall. But to make this dream a reality, we need your help!
The Carnegie Hall Dream
Carnegie Hall. The name alone is enough to send chills down the spine of any musician. It’s one of the world’s most iconic venues, a stage where only the best of the best have had the privilege to play. It’s where legends are made and where music history is written. For us, performing there is not just another concert; it’s the culmination of everything we’ve worked for—the pinnacle of our journey as a band.
We’ve decided to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2025, and this opportunity is truly once-in-a-lifetime. But as you can imagine, bringing our band, our instruments, and our music to New York requires significant resources.
What We Need
To bring the sound of Swing á la Django to Carnegie Hall, we need to raise **50,000 EUR**. This amount will cover:
- Renting Carnegie Hall: Securing this prestigious venue for our concert.
- Sound and Technical Equipment: Ensuring that the magic of our performance is heard with the highest quality sound.
- Travel Costs: Getting the band and our instruments safely to New York City.
- Accommodation: Finding a place to stay while we rehearse and prepare for this unforgettable performance.
